My name is Tom and I’m currently a student at Portsmouth University. I love music and love going to support the Union.

 

I started Djing when I was about 7 years old, cd players and a cross fader. I lost interest a few years back when I decided to concentrate on motor sport. However, now I’ve decided to get back into Djing.

 

I prefer using electronic mixing to cd or vinyl as I find them too restrictive for the range of music and nature of mixing required for a proper student night out. By this I mean, dropping samples and songs into other songs to create mash ups on the go. I use Traktor DJ Studio version 3 with Final Scratch software so I can control my mixing through the computer interface or through a set of decks.

 

I have only been back Djing for a few months, but hopefully you like the mixes I have uploaded. If you have any suggestions for a future mix, just let me know.
